Critical thinking and a willingness to make changes.
The author Alex Kain has tried to identify some of the deeper reasons for today’s crisis. In this book he looks to set up incremental elements that improve over time. He has found those who had little, worked hard and are looking for something deeper. The Philosophy, is a book that might guide us away from the destructive path laid out by industrial technology and global capitalism. This book is packed with insights, the fruit of a lifetime of reading and reflection on vital matters. This is a work that should be read by everyone concerned about the state of the world and seeks conceptual resources to help improve it. One of the many parts I like is the real-world examples sprinkled throughout to help ground some of the more abstract ideas. This is a smart, timely read that encourages leaders to slow down, breathe, and rethink what is important to them and how to fix a system that is broken. I also like how the book is set up in paragraphs and titles. Example titles are, A Bitter Pill, Adult Super Vision, Building a Bridge Over Fear and my personal favorite, The Good, The Bad and the missed opportunity. I believe this is a valuable resource for anyone. It should be a recommended read for personal and professional growth.
